Plate Tectonic

  Plate tectonics is theory that support the earth is made up of many piece of land.

  Continental drift is a evidence that support plate tectonic because theory of continental drift prove that there was a big piece of land call Pangaea slow break into 7 continent we have today. Theory of plate tectonic is true because similar fossils and rock type were found in different continent and all continent can fit like a puzzle.

  Type of boundary also support the theory of plate tectonic. Convergent boundary is when two plate come together and it create mountains so we have many mountain today. Divergent boundary is when two plate move apart it create rift valley and mid-ocean-ridge that why we have those feature today.Transform boundary is when two plate slide each other that why we have earthquake and tsunami.

  Convection current is when the heat rise from mantle to the crust and it cools down and sink back down convection current is a piece of evidence because convection current is cause the plates to move so we have those different type of boundary.

  I agree with the theory of plate tectonic because there are many evidence that prove the theory of plate tectonic is true.

The part that I most enjoy is making video because I have never made a video before.

Find real life pictures for the video because some picture are not easy to find.

Heliocentric VS. Geocentric

Vocabulary

Astronomy(天文学）- Study of the sun and planets in the universe.

Heliocentric model(日心的）- Sun in the center.

Geocentric model(地心的）- Earth in the center.

Ptolemy(托勒密)- Person who believe in geocentric model.

Copernicus(哥白尼)- Person who believe in heliocentric model.

Galileo(伽利略)- Person who support the theory of heliocentric. 

Summary

     Astronomy is a study of the sun and planet in the universe.Ptolemy believes that the sun and stars are revolting around the earth.People believe in geocentric model until a man call Copernicus appear. He had an idea about earth and other planet are revolting around the sun. Later a man call Galileo use his telescope to observe the universe and supported the theory of heliocentric.

   Earth revolution affect the earth in many ways one example is seasons. Earth have different seasons because one half of the orbit is longer than other half so the earth get different amount of sunlight at different place so there are different seasons on earth.
